According to a law passed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Council of Ministers on December 16, 2023, the immigrants of Singapore are no longer required to obtain visas, according to the Embassy of that country in Singapore.
According to the new rules, starting on February 4th, 2024, Singaporean citizens are allowed to enter and remain in the Islamic Republic of Iran for 15 weeks without a visa every 180 days for the purpose of commerce. The 15-day deadline cannot be extended.
If Iranian nationals intend to visit Singapore for short stays ( tourism ), they are not required to apply for a visa. However, before entering Singapore, you must obtain an electronic travel authorization (eTA or eVisa ).
Iran has previously granted visa-free passage to tourists from 33 states in December 2023 in an effort to increase the number of tourists arriving and draw in more from other nations. Iran is then visa-free for citizens of Singapore, according to eTurboNews| ETN
