Palladium Hotel Group kicks off the opening of its seasonal hotels in Europe. Throughout the month of March and throughout April, the establishments managed by the hotel group in Ibiza, Menorca, Marbella and Sicily will open their doors with several new features and a wide selection of proposals adapted to all types of travelers.

After last year’s very positive summer season, both in terms of the figures achieved and the positive reception of the TRS Ibiza Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella openings, Palladium Hotel Group is forecasting a good Easter Week with a start to the season with occupancy figures of around 80% in global terms. This represents a brief increase compared to the same period in 2022 and is accompanied by a 15% increase in RevPar compared to the previous year, reaffirming the good health of tourism activity.

In line with Palladium Hotel Group’s ongoing commitment to excellence, the group has driven a series of innovations and improvements in the hotels it operates, including several relevant renovations with the aim of further raising its quality proposition.

This is the case of Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, located in the well-known Playa d’en Bossa, which has undergone a thorough refurbishment, including its 411 rooms, its main entrance and several common areas. Nearby, the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has also undergone a refurbishment of its facilities focused on elevating the luxury experience for all its visitors. Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, which opened its doors for the first time in July 2022, has completed extensive renovation work on its building, after which it will remain open for good, bringing together a total of 383 rooms in two towers: Oasis and Nirvana.

Start of the season: opening dates

The first Palladium Hotel Group hotel to open its doors this season was the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. Operational since 3 March, the establishment will be open all year round. The Malaga hotel will be followed from 31 March by Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Cala Llonga and Palladium Hotel Palmyra in Ibiza, as well as Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa in Italy.

In April, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel will open on the 21st, whilst Palladium Hotel Menorca, TRS Ibiza Hotel, BLESS Hotel Ibiza and Agroturismo Sa Talaia will open on the 28th. The last to join will be Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa which, after completing the renovation of its facilities, will reopen to the public on the 1st of June.

The most important new developments in 2023

Along with Palladium Hotel Group’s firm commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, the Spanish hotel group is celebrating the start of the season with several new features.

In Ibiza, the complete renovation of the Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa stands out, both in several common areas and in the rooms, inspired by contemporary luxury through textures and shapes with noble materials, paired with neutral colors.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, in addition to the amazing refurbishment of its common areas, will celebrate an important milestone this year: the tenth anniversary of its emblematic building The Ushuaïa Tower. Music, fashion, style and fun, as well as the irreverent and sophisticated touch of the brand, will be at the centre of the celebration of this commemoration.

At Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, this year the hotel will unveil revolutionary AI technology with a robot waiter and hostess that will serve customers at 3rdHalf, the hotel’s sports bar, which will become the first hospitality robot of its kind on the island. In addition, there will be a new children’s area and a climbing area for the little ones; for those who want to keep fit during their holidays the hotel’s gym, Body Rock®, will now be a more open space with views of the sea; and for the more musical guests, the hotel will host several concerts from the moment it opens.

Likewise, the luxury hotel, a pioneer in the concept of hedonistic luxury on the island, BLESS Hotel Ibiza, will open its new season after its flagship restaurant Etxeko Ibiza by Martín Berasategui was awarded its first MICHELIN star at the last gala of the world-renowned guide, and once again achieved a Sol Repsol for the second consecutive year.

Making the leap to the Costa del Sol, specifically to Puerto Banús, Hard Rock Hotel Marbella opens the Oasis building with new luxury room categories: the Rock Suite, spacious suites with a large living room and desk; and the Rock Star Suite, with 140 m2 of living space, a dressing room and Memorabilia® inside, with Celia Cruz shoes and a Shakira dress, as well as offering late check-out subject to availability, a complimentary Balinese bed by the pool and VIP amenities. Guests can also enjoy the new Rock Spa®, with a complete wellness circuit, three wellness suites and the exclusive ‘Rhythm and Motion’ treatment menu that makes this wellness space a unique place to experience a relaxing holiday.
