Saudia is gearing up for 2024 by introducing a modern and sophisticated brand to mark the start of the new year.
The progression of Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national airline, is motivated by its pledge to become ‘the wings of Vision 2030’, proposing to make this grand idea a reality for the nation. As the start of a new year approaches, it signals that Saudi Arabia is one step closer to meeting its 2030 goals. With the beginning of 2024, Saudi Arabia will be launching a new brand identity and aesthetic. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser, President of Saudia.
At a presentation witnessed by His Excellency Engr. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser, President of Saudia, the reveal of Saudia’s new livery and brand identity occurred. In September 2023, Ibrahim Al-Omar was appointed Director of Saudia Group and the implementation plan has now been put into effect for all the markets. The livery and logo feature a combination of three colors, each of which has a special meaning. Green represents the patriotic sentiment of the nation of Saudia and their motivation to reach the environmental objectives of the Vision 2030 program. In 2023, Saudia joined in the second run of The Sustainable Flight Challenge under SkyTeam and managed to run six flights with a sustainable approach; this involvement gave the airline the chance to find new sustainable practices which can be implemented for flight operations in the years to come. The use of blue demonstrates the goals of the company, which links to the seas and skies, reaffirming its commitment to growing the planes it offers, from 241 up to 145 places and to locations which are up-and-coming, such as Neom and the Red Sea, interacting the whole world with Saudi Arabia.
