I spent several years living in Turkey, and I still go there frequently today. Being married to a Greek gentleman, I’m fortunate to always follow his advice when we travel. I found it hard to believe we had n’t been sightseeing in Antalya before the first time we did. I’ve visited many locations outside of Turkey, but this one is a must-see and there I would always go back to.
But, it’s crucial to keep in mind that Antalya City and Province are distinct. One location is Antalya City, but there are numerous other towns and resorts in the state, which is similar to a state. The good news is that Antalya has so many amazing places to see that you wo n’t waste any time trying to figure out what to do next.

Knowing that Antalya is a large and active town comes first. Because of this, choosing the best activities to engage in in Antalya is crucial right away. You must consider which of the many Antalya attractions that are available calling out to your objectives.
The normal aspect of the town was what caught my attention. Yes, it is a sizable position, but it’s also incredibly lovely and not overly constructed. It’s really a feat to accomplish to be both modern and old at the same time, standard and useful. Below are 15 of the best things to do when you visit Antalya City because I want to make sure you have the most fun probable:
1. Waterfalls in Denver
It’s quite amazing that there is a sizable, breathtaking fountain right in the middle of the city. One of the best things to do in Antalya is to visit Duden Waterfalls because it’s inexpensive and well worth the experience. Standing right on the edge, you can observe the water’s cascading, thunderous descent into the water, which creates rainbow among the foam and clouds.
You have to do it, and it’s quite wonderful. It should n’t take more than an hour to explore, sit, and enjoy a cup of coffee if you want to visit Duden Waterfalls, which are conveniently located on the way to Lara Beach. To see other waterfalls in the area, you can also go on a trip. For more information, visit below.

Visits to the Land of Legends Theme Park are among the best family-friendly activities in Antalya. You’ll have at least one full day to see and do everything there, but if you’d like, you can sit in the on-site resort for an additional time. To love, there are trips, restaurants, shopping, and performances.
This is one of the best places to visit in Antalya if you’re traveling with kids, and you should certainly include it on your travel plans. I advise you to set off a whole day to invest in Antalya Old Town because there is so much to do there. There are also Hadrian’s Gate, Hidirlik Tower, and the cobblestoned, winding streets surrounding the Old Town to explore in addition to the park, which is really lovely and perfect for taking spectacular photos.
One of the best free activities in Antalya is this, and since there are so many small stores where you can negotiate for your purchases, it’s a great chance to shop for mementos. I went on a walking visit, and I learned so little; I urge you to do the same. For more information, visit here.

4. National Park of Köprülü Canyon
Köprülü Canyon National Park, one of the most unusual things to do in Antalya, is about an hour’s travel from the city centre. I was astounded by the area’s large beauty, but if you like extreme sports, you should check it out as well. If you’re looking to examine your courage, a whitewater rafting trip is an excellent thought. To find out more, visit here.
I went to this area in the middle of the summer, and the canyon’s level and shade gave me much-needed relief from the heat. If you do n’t like crowds, it might be a better idea to visit in June or September because it was particularly busy. It would be a murder to lose it, despite the fact that it is one of the best things to do close to Antalya.
Bozyaka, 07550 Manavgat/Antalya, target
5. 5. Aspendos
I always enjoy learning about the historical ruins and history that the whole Antalya state has to offer. Given that Aspendos is only ten minutes from the Old Town and the number of wreckage so close to the city centre really surprised me. If you enjoy all points historical, like I do, it’s one of the best places to visit in Antalya.
This historic drama, which dates back to the fifth century BC, is one of the top tourist destinations in Antalya and is exceptionally well preserved. You can just picture the commotion of life in the past when you’re standing at the top and looking over. I heartily urge you to come here; in fact, you can take a full-day visit of the nearby ruins to mix all into one. Click here for more information.

6. Beach of Konyaalt
The major shore in Antalya is called Konyaalt Beach, and there is no other way to describe how beautiful it is. The water is crystal apparent, and the backdrop of mountains is amazing. The shore is also particularly wide and long, so there is always plenty of room, even when it is crowded in the summer.
One of the best things to do in Antalya is to spend some time enjoying the sun and splashing in the Mediterranean, and this is the ideal location. Remember that you will need to pay for moon sitters and umbrellas, and that prices change depending on where on the shore you are.
When you consider that this beach is one of the best attractions in Antalya, and possibly even Turkey, you can anticipate paying less than 100 Lira ($ 3.50 USD ) for a full day’s usage.

7. 7. Termessos
Termessos, one of the best locations for landscapes, hiking, and historical exploration, is less than an hour’s drive from the city centre. The opinions are different and can be seen for miles on a clear morning. They date back to around 333 BC. I went on a walking tour here, and I was astounded by the whole place. For more details, visit here.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best things to see in Antalya, and you do n’t have to be an expert hiker to enjoy it. All you need is some fitness. It can be very hot during the summer, and there is n’t much shade around the ruins and the mountainside, so I strongly advise you to wear comfortable shoes and a hat. Drink a lot of fluids as well.
Bayatbademleri, 07800 Döşemealt/Antalya is the target.
8. Sandland
In Antalya, there are many enjoyable activities, but a trip to Sandland stands out as one of the most distinctive. You can see sand artworks by talented artists from all over the world around at new events held every year. I must admit that at first I was hesitant, but as soon as I arrived, I became fixated. There are many different styles to explore, and it’s a really fascinating area.
Sandland is incredibly convenient to explore and can be combined with some beach day because it is situated between Antalya and Lara Beach. It’s one of the most fascinating places to visit close to Antalya and a great choice for an enjoyable family outing. For solution information, visit here.

9…. Selfie Park
I accidentally came across Selfie Park, but it was such a great day that you’ll probably find yourself snapping away even if you do n’t like selfies. We were only able to lose three hours while taking pictures, but the time passed so quickly because it was so much fun. I ca n’t recall laughing that hard in a very long time.
I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for things to do to beat the heat for a few time and try something new. It’s incredibly specific, and if you celebrate your birthday that, you can purchase a unique package and upload even better pictures to social media. Click here for more information on tickets.

10. The Antalya Archaeology Museum
One of the best exhibitions I’ve previously visited was the Antalya Archaeology Museum, and being in the midst of a location known for its beachtime was refreshing. If you enjoy history, this is one of the best things to do in Antalya, and the displays are very simple to follow, making it ideal for families as well.
Antalya is an outdoor museum in many ways, but a few hours spent it will teach you much about bygone eras. There are many traditional activities to be done it. The Sarcophagi Hall and the Emperor’s Hall, both honoring Roman kings, were my favorites.
Address: Konyaalt Bahçelievler. No: 88, 07050 Muratpaşa/Antalya
11. Shopping store TerraCity
Due to TerraCity’s size and the amazing variety of activities it offers, it is very simple to gain a few hours there. Because there are some excellent restaurants in Antalya where you can enjoy a silent meal, in my opinion, this is one of the best things to do for couples. The Mall of Antalya is a good option if you want to consider another buying center.
All the well-known names, as well as some regional ones, can be found inside the store. If you want to buy something especially specific, there’s a theatre, food hall, cafes, and lots of custom shops. I enjoy shopping and was able to make a good purchase during my visit. I also significantly reduced the cost of my journey home thanks to the exchange rate.
Fener, Tekeliolu Cd. is the target. Muratpaşa/Antalya, no: 55, 07160
12. Observe a hockey game
Soccer is very popular in Turkey, so if you have the opportunity to attend a Süper Lig game while you’re there, I greatly advise you to do so. No matter where you are, there is a lively atmosphere, and there are guests of all ages present, making it enjoyable for people to perform. The major staff in this region of the nation is called Antalyaspor, and their home stadium is located there.
If you can get tickets, watching a game is one of the best things to do in Antalya, and you do n’t have to be the biggest soccer fan to have fun. Everyone will be rushing to the closest cafes, bars, and restaurants after the game to ( hopefully ) celebrate their victory and take part in the extra-fun atmosphere.
Meltem, 3802 is the handle. Sk., 07030 Muratpaşa/Antalya
13. Ancient City Perge
One of Antalya’s most beautiful sights is the Ancient City of Perge, which is located not far from the town centre. I’ve already mentioned how much I adore historical sites, and this one does n’t let me down. Perge, which was once a Ancient community, expanded over time before coming under Greek and Roman rule.
Perge was a significant area during the Greek period, along with Aspendos, and you can however see so much of the initial foundations nowadays. Another outdoor museum where you can just stroll around and almost feel the murmurs of the previous around you is this one.
You can also go on a journey that goes through Perge and Aspendos, where you’ll be able to learn more from an expert visit link. For more details, visit below.
Address: 07112 Aksu/Antalya, Barbaros, Perge Yolu
14.. Embark on a Boat Trip
One of the best things to do in Antalya when the weather is hot is to take a boat vacation along the coast. In fact, it’s still a great idea even when the temperature is n’t as high. Suluada Island is one of the most well-liked destinations. I can truthfully say that I’ve never seen ocean this clear, and the trip itself was a blast.
The majority of boat trips even include stops at Paradise Bay and Waterfall Bay, and breakfast is frequently included. For visit information, visit below.
I would n’t, however, advise taking this full-day journey in July or August. Yes, the sun is beating down with summers feelings, but it’s also very powerful, and after spending so much time outside, one of my friends became very ill. When you can much take in the scenery without worrying about extremely high temperatures, I’d suggest going in June or September.
Address: Adrasan, 07350 Kumluca/Antalya; location of the journey meeting
15.. 15. Car Safari
Going on a Car vacation trip of the Taurus Mountains is one of my favourite things to do in Antalya. The land is so quiet and peaceful in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the city, and the scenery is breathtaking. In a nearby community, where you’ll even eat something delectable, you can simultaneously sample conventional food.
Although Antalya has a lot to offer, it’s crucial to occasionally venture outside and get in the know of it all. While modern-day entertainment is crucial in this region of Turkey, these kinds of excursions allow you to experience a unique side of the city that you might otherwise lose. Antalya has so many attractions that it’s crucial to plan out what you want to see before you travel. I did n’t have a plan when I first visited Antalya, so I missed out on some of the best attractions. However, this did require me to return, which was undoubtedly hardly a pain.
I strongly advise renting a car and traveling to some of the other smaller towns in the province if you plan to visit during the summer. In this region of the country, there are some incredible shores, including the renowned Kaputaş Beach. However, I can assure you that even if you base yourself in Antalya city alone, you wo n’t be bored for a second.
