William David Delahunt ( July 18, 1941 – March 30, 2024 ) was an American lawyer and politician from Massachusetts. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the US House of Representatives representing Massachusetts’s 10th congressional city from 1997 to 2011. Delahunt left Congress in January 2011 and did not run for re-election in 2010.
