And the capital, or region in general, has proven they do n’t have crystal blue lakes and swim-up plates to entice tourists to visit. Digital Nomads Love It…For Then 2023 was a report year for Guadalajara, with one important aspect being digital nomad coming here in droves. In fact, it’s one of the fastest-growing online vagabond places not just in Mexico but the entire world. Like anywhere else, when there is rapid development, over-tourism is a problem for both locals and visitors. Some claim that it’s only a matter of time before Guadalajara loses its appeal as a welcoming foundation for modern nomads, but just time will tell. One factor not going anywhere is the year-round light, and, for now, the capital is still very affordable, easy to get around, and jam-packed with things to do as digital nomad are absolutely just as much chefs and society applicants as anyone else. One of the best ways to experience anywhere culturally is through food. Many travelers to Guadalajara visit charming small towns like Tlaquepaque, but many also include Tequila on their itinerary. The trip itself is enjoyable because you will pass through stunning agave fields to set the tone for what you’re about to endure. Now, obviously, it’s always best to drink responsibly, especially since this town truly lives and breathes its name. Only a few Mexican states offer authentic tequila, and visitors can visit distilleries like Jose Cuervo and Sauza.
