Although there is n’t a bad time to go on that vacation in Europe that you’ve been longing for, spring may just be the ideal season to make the necessary reservations.
While the most sought-after destinations have yet to be overrun by the tumultuous summer masses, the weather warms up and becomes inviting.
While choosing the best time to visit Europe is n’t too difficult, there are a lot of factors to take into account when choosing where to go.
You can always rely on data-backed rankings like the one recently released by European Best Destinations, an annual list based on the experiences of over 1 million travelers from 172 countries, if you do n’t feel like going through the impossible decision-making process.
The poll’s goal was to identify the top European travel destinations that foreign visitors thought were” the best,” and below you can find the locations that came in at number three out of more than 500 options.
3. Malta
Due to its record-breaking tourism success, beautiful Mediterranean weather, and unexpectedly simple-to-get digital nomad visa, Malta has been making headlines these past few months.
But this time, the small but powerful nation has captured the attention of the world due to the excellent effect it has made on those fortunate enough to experience its wonders.
Do n’t let the island’s small size fool you; I once tried to see and do as much as I could in Malta for a week, but I still missed out on many of the places I would have listed as must-sees.
Fortunately, I was also able to visit Valletta, the nation’s capital, and Melliea, a sizable village that is located off the northwestern coast of the main island and is renowned for having Gadira Bay, among the most stunning beaches in all of Europe.
You wo n’t have to choose between the classic European city break and the Mediterranean beachy experience; you’ll get the best of both worlds with the combination of the two.
Valletta will astound you with its ornate baroque structures that look out over the regal blue ocean, and Gadira Bay’s long reaches of white-sanded shores will transport you to the Maldives.
2. Monaco,
When choosing a new European destination, one of the most common errors travelers make is assuming Monaco is yet another overpriced, overcrowded place when, in actuality, that could n’t be further from the truth.
The microstate, which is tucked away along the French Riviera, is much more than just another location to admire expensive-looking structures and boats.
While those looking to experience something new may try their luck in one of the renowned high-stakes games or plan their visit so they can witness the esteemed Formula 1 Grand Prix first, society seeking did adore exploring the Prince’s Palace, the popular Monaco Courthouse, and the Saint Nicholas Cathedral.
Furthermore, a trip to Monaco does n’t have to be too expensive either ( provided you’re not planning on going overboard with your gambling ).

1. Spain’s Marbella
It should come as no surprise that one of Spain’s beautiful beach cities holds the top spot on the list today, given that the country just set a number of its most impressive customer records.
Given how many idyllic locations of this type there are, Marbella, which was once a tiny fishing community, has grown to become one of the most sought-after warm-weather areas in the entire world.
Visitors to Marbella will spend their days basking in the Colonial sunlight at some wonderfully lovely beaches and their evenings strolling through the renowned Old Town, complete with cobblestone streets, white buildings, and vibrantly colored flowers that graze their walls.
Make sure to keep a little bit of time in your plan for everyone because Orange Square, also known as the center of the Old Town, is surrounded by more shops, shops, and historical sites than you can qualify.
