According to recent figures, at least 17.3 million Americans consider themselves to be online nomads.
Many of these digital nomad reside and work in various foreign locations, including those in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and beyond.
These are the best digital nomad destinations right then, based on surveys of our readers, consulting experts, and present cost of living data.
1. Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon is the best city in Europe for modern nomads.
Portugal is a popular destination for online nomads because of its affordable cost of living, which is undoubtedly lower than anything else in Eastern Europe.
