Priyanka Jena: We discovered a couple sites around Odisha. India has a lot to sell, especially when traveling by road. T+L India: How do you plan for long expeditions with your dogs? Whalesandtails has taken up almost 22 states in India along with their dogs. Tanveer Taj: We plan well in advance and with pets, you have to get a lot more cuts. We always drove more than six hours per day unless we were forced to. We also have a moment item always ready to go and we also carry their meals, napkins, more ropes, and water bowls in the car. Priyanka Jena: Since they were younger, our dogs have been traveling with us. They follow our example and have a right program. They eat in the morning, sleep in the car, taking breaks, and when we reach the destination, they get their bigger meals. We also have a large medical equipment with them, which is essential for their health and well-being. Do you ever find it challenging to balance your dog’s needs with your desire to discover new areas? T+L India Tanveer Taj: To be completely entertained traveling with your dogs involves watching your furry child experience [a place ] for the first time. Experiencing that is so rewarding. Priyanka Jena: No actually. There are many different types of journeys we take throughout the year, and some are just for them. We go to sites with open ground, spots to snorkel and examine, and the journey is absolutely focussed on them. T+L India: Which is your greatest remembrance of travelling with your dogs? These area dogs both saw snow for the first time, and it will always be etched in my remembrance forever. Seeing them like that was valuable. T+L India: You have covered over 2, 00, 000 miles with your dogs. What are some of your major lessons? Tanveer Taj: You need to be more organized with your animals. The more you travel, the more entertaining it is. We traveled 12, 000 kilometers in 2019 and it had such an impact that we had to leave the city and relocate to a location close to the beach in Karnataka. Your outlook on life is altered by go.
