People in Tourism Celebrates at the World Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre

During the subsequent 2nd Global Tourism Resilience Day held in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the GTRCMC hosted a powerful panel discussion titled” People in Tourism Resilience”. This interesting treatment brought together prominent women who shared their experience and insights, emphasizing the important role of women in shaping the hospitality sector.
The board explored three important elements: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Leadership, and Networking and Collaboration. Throughout the event, attendees witnessed the remarkable efforts of people as trailblazers and innovators, leveraging systems and driving revolutionary change in the hospitality industry.
Minister the Hon Edmund Bartlett, Founder and Co- Head of the GTRCMC, remarked,” On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the enterprising spirit of women in tourism and their important role in building a responsible and resilient international tourism sector”.

Professor Lloyd Waller, Executive Director of the GTRCMC, emphasized,” People play a vital role in building endurance within the tourism market. Their endurance, resilience, and authority are instrumental in navigating difficulties and ensuring the conservation of hospitality destinations”.
