Today, Viking was Highly Commended by Cruise Critic®, the world’s most extensive online cruise reference. Viking came out on top in many of the company’s award categories. Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards for 2023 bestowed seven awards onto Viking across its luxury, river, and expedition sectors. It earned more awards than its rivals, notably two in the luxury class: Best Cabins and Best Spa. Since Viking’s introduction of their ocean voyages in 2015, they have been annually awarded for them. On top of that, the organization has been praised in three river areas: Best for Beginners, Best River Line, and Best Service. Viking has been presented with seven awards by Cruise Critic, two inside the expedition sector, such as ‘Best for Light Expedition’ and ‘Best Spa’. Mr. Torstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking, proudly remarked “We are truly humbled to receive these awards, particularly in the luxury sector, from Cruise Critic’s editors”. We are not eager to apply the term ‘luxury’ to ourselves since everyone has a different understanding of the word. We take delight in being regarded by industry insiders as a ‘luxury’ company.
