However, we’ve uncovered a few areas in the UAE that you might not know about. From spectacular mountain trails to wild bird sanctuaries, these are 12 picture-perfect locations. 1. More than 20, 000 species of 67 species inhabit the place, which is most popular for its beautiful flock of penguins. Mind to one of three viewing hides spread out around the temple to view them. These are available from 9am to 4pm Saturday to Thursday, and access is free ( there are lights available to use, to ). 2. Bur Dubai’s Persian Mosque View this Instagram post The tower, which is also known as the Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque, is decorated with intricate orange stones. It’s one of two elaborately painted Egyptian temples in Dubai– the another, Imam Hussein Mosque, is located in Satwa. 3. This piece of dust is located 50 km off the beach of Dubai on Moon Island, Dubai. You’ll need a vessel to reach this sky- shaped sandbar– where, swimming, sunbaking and fishing await – but the view’s also better if you can get it from above. 4. Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba Fossil Dunes View this Instagram article Follow the Al Ain vehicle route and the E30, and then travel south of Al Wathba Wetland Reserve. 6. Al Ain Oasis View this Instagram article Spread over 3, 000 acre, the paradise is one of the world’s oldest completely inhabited communities, dating back more than 4, 000 years. You can travel through its peaceful channels, with more than 147, 000 day palm trees providing a beautiful natural canopy. 7. Snoopy Island, Fujairah View this Instagram article This dazzling crimson sea is home to turtles, fish of every color, and also tiny white-tip reef sharks. 8. Al Wathba Wetland Reserve, an area of five square kilometers of water bodies, water flats, and sands, is accessible via a 45-minute push from Abu Dhabi. Flamingos are its main draw, and the later Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan established the reserve as a protected area in 1998. The animals bred there for the first day in 1998. 9. The old camp is a particularly beautiful off-the-beaten-path favorite for hiking and mountain biking, and it’s a popular destination for both.
