The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has expanded its recommendations for how travellers may handle the possible health risk as millions of Americans prepare to go overseas this summers and measles outbreaks improve worldwide. If Americans who intend to travel abroad are uncertain whether their vaccinations are up to date, the direction then advises them to consult their physicians at least six months before they depart.
