Visa Korea and the Guam Visitors Bureau sign a Memorandum

The Guam Visitors Bureau ( GBB ) and Visa have partnered to promote visitor spending and promote travel there.
On Wednesday, March 13, the Visa representatives traveled to Guam to make a presentation to GVB members at the GVB General Membership Meeting and sign a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) with the organization to form a long-term partnership to advance Guam.
Due to signing the document, Mr. Patrick Storey, Country Manager for Visa Korea & Mongolia, and Mr. Seung Hyun” Stanley” Kim, Head of Cross-Border Payment for Visa Korea & Mongolia, gave a lecture to the GVB participation at the RIHGA Royal Laguna Guam Resort room before signing it.

” Visa’s mission is to connect the world through the most innovative, reliable, and secure network enabling individuals, businesses, and economies to thrive”, stated Kim in his presentation,” We seek collaboration with merchants to achieve our goal”.
Our Visa groups are very interested in working with GVB and all of their partners in this area because of the many strategies that are being used to promote offers to Asian travelers in Guam.
The MOU was established to launch joint data-driven marketing initiatives that will increase go to Guam, boost on-island spending, and improve the Visa card holder’s experience. A portion of the MOU aims to promote a Guam Visa-exclusive rewards program in order to draw in more repeat buyers and repeat buyers. Through Visa cards deals, GVB intends to use Visa’s contact channels to increase on-island saving and encourage Guam to Korean travelers.

Working with such a large business model and their community to promote Guam as a place and increase the paying experience for our visitors would be a great achievement. This relationship can be of benefit to everyone, especially the citizens of Guam”, said GVB President and CEO Carl T. C. Gutierrez.
Over the coming decades, GVB and Visa intend to begin planning for their joint promotion.
