And that recognition is only going to grow even more in 2024 as more people travel to Spain and Portugal. Each nation has its own unique flair, but they also have many similarities.

The climate in both Spain and Portugal is among the best in Europe.

As someone who has spent a lot of time traveling alone in both places and spent a lot of time there, I can speak how simple it is to get around on your own and find enjoyable things to do. Both Spain and Portugal are excellent places for single travelers.
Spain and Portugal are both very secure, and in both locations, it’s easy to join other tourists and visitors alike.
There are plenty of actions you can do as a single traveler, whether you’re interested in museums, food, character, or something else.

Spain’s Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, for instance, both set fresh tourism data in 2023, and countless Americans are making their first discovery of these sites.
And in Portugal, guests are traveling to less-known cities to get cheaper rates and get away from the masses of Lisbon.
