The Seychelles Tourism Academy recognizes graduates of Shannon College of Ireland

The graduation meeting, held on March 7, 2024, was a historic ceremony attended by Mr. Terence Max, Director of the Seychelles Tourism Academy.
The Bachelor of Business Studies program in global hotel management is now available to 16 individuals. After successfully completing the first three years of the Seychelles Tourism Academy’s Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management ( ADHM) program, these individuals successfully completed the degree program in its fourth year.
Additionally, the ceremony highlighted two remarkable graduates’ outstanding achievements. Ms. Sherine Woodcock received the award for her best global student work and contribution to the global society. For his extraordinary accomplishments and commitment to excellence in kindness, Mr. Mehdi Stravens was awarded the prestigious Marriott Voyage Award of Service Excellence.
Mr. Terence Max, Director of the Seychelles Tourism Academy, expressed his pleasure in the alumni ‘ achievements, emphasizing the creative efforts of the Seychelles Tourism Academy university, Shannon College, and friendly people. He reiterated the Academy’s dedication to developing Seychellois ‘ abilities and preparing them for management positions in the hospitality sector.
The Seychelles Tourism Academy took great pride in hosting our undergraduate festival this year.
” We were especially appreciative of the remarkable efforts made by our learners, especially the two graduates who were awarded special awards. As an club, we are still dedicated to helping our graduates advance their careers and become better. Our family department, the Department of Tourism, and we have a strong partnership to ensure that our grads have the needed support and possibilities in the tourism and hospitality industry. Our goal is to keep local skill and contribute to the industry’s long-term victory and sustainability, said Mr. Max.
The Seychelles Tourism Academy and the Shannon College of Hotel Management have a long history of working together, dating up to 2010 when the first group took the course. The National University of Galway, Ireland, has validated the ADHM Program and is under the supervision of Shannon College.
