Phoenix Sky Harbor is a hectic summer vacation destination for American Airlines.

Phoenix ( AZFamily )- The Valley is beginning to heat up, and with it come thousands of tourists looking to take in the hot Arizona sun. American Airlines says it’s prepared to ensure that guests have a clean experience in the airports this summer after Phoenix Sky Harbor saw record-setting figures in 2023. The airport expects to offer almost 3 million users on over 26, 000 airlines between May 17 and Sept. 3 at Sky Harbor. ” We have made significant investments in our group members and in our tools and technology. So I believe that their knowledge is going to be significantly more smooth, and they’re going to love it”, said Sophia Philis- Ortiz, American Airlines evil chairman of Phoenix hub operations. American Airlines claims to have hired and trained its team members and made sure its vendors were prepared to equip the plane, tools, and facilities for the flood of summer travelers. Additionally, the aircraft has worked to lower maintenance costs, find ways to keep the aircraft cold, and engage in more technologies, such as an analytical tool that reduces tourist delays on an aircraft. ” We’ve put a lot of effort into making sure that when we do irregular operations, we go ahead and we bounce back much more quickly,” said Philis-Ortiz. These changes come after” America’s Friendliest Airport” had its busiest month in 2023. Around 48 million people walked through Sky Harbor’s windows last month, 10 % higher than in 2022. Sky Harbor added new sites, such as a daily trip to Paris. American Airlines even added more places from Phoenix, including Tijuana, Mexico, Provo, Utah, and Pasco, Washington. With 239 flights departing from Sky Habor on July 7, American Airlines anticipates Phoenix to be its busiest vacation time. To learn more about how to plan for summer vacation, click/tap around.
